Why, O why, O why?

These pieces of nonsense were produced by Grandpa Leslie for the benefit of appreciative grandsons when they were very young. It is believed that the earlier illustrated stories, with voice added, contributed to mastery of the written word well before the attainment of school age.

Most of the tales were inspired by current interests and family activities, including some temporary disasters. The less happy memories of some of our lamented relatives may perhaps owe more to imagination than to history. Nevertheless, if anyone does know the whereabouts of Uncle Ken we should be glad to have news of him by e-mail to admin@grandpa-leslie.com
